New to epoxy and was unsure of the product. After reviewing online it looks to be a good choice and the price is reasonable.

Works good, would suggest warming up to 80 or 90 degrees to mix.

There are three basic types of resins for those who enjoy casting molds, jewelry making, etc. Its important to understand the differences and determine what type of projects youll be doing. Most of my projects are deep-pour designs. This is NOT a good deep-pour resin. Not sure how I misread this, but somehow, I thought this would work as a substitute for the more expensive deep-pour resin Ive been using. Thats on me. I do like the viscosity of this resin. Its thicker than most and has a good working time. If youre casting thinner projects such as cutting boards, serving trays, key chains, or bookmarks it works quite well. I do have a terrible time with this product producing too many bubbles. I have to mix small batches, no more than 40 or 50 ml and use multiple pourings to achieve a good look without bubbles. So basically, this is not my favorite resin because it just doesnt work well with most of my projects. But its good stuff for small, thinner projects.

I was very skeptical that this would be good epoxy at this price point, but I didnt need a quality finish. The epoxy comes with two mixing cups, three squeegees and gloves which is awesome! I used a vacuum chamber and with a quick vac I was able to make a pour without a single bubble in sight. Working time was perfect for me. Im really surprised by this, excellent product!

So far I havent had problems with this resin. I do recommend watching YouTube videos on how to use resin. For example, if texture is off or its hard to mix, online videos will show you how to mix. Its usually user error. Must follow directions precise. The color was clear. Didbt take too long to cure. Remeber it takes longer to cure in a mold versus on a canvas. Ive had good results so far. I have used it on a canvas with mica powder and in a mold and as a top coat on canvas. Its definitely a learning curve. I recommend making just enough for what you needs at that moment. I wouldnt make extra because you only have a set time before it cures. The price is good. Value is good. I even bought another set.

Really good quality. Mixes easily, good avg drying time, and nice even coating. Used it on my home made pallet bar, really nice shine. Although you cant see it much, but it almost makes it look like it has a glass top. I recommend it! And definitely buying it again for my next project.
