Bella Solids White Layer Cake 42 10-inch Squares Moda Fabrics 9900LC 98

These 10” squares have had pinking sheers used on them to minimize fraying of the fabric. I had to cut them down by just a 1/2” on one edge, and those edges are fraying. This is not even a medium weight cotton fabric, so it wrinkles badly (even with spray starch). I won’t use these or any other Bella solids by Moda again. Poor quality! I had to purchase fusible interfacing to use on top of these layer cake squares after piecing them into my quilt, to hopefully avoid any further fraying.

I love the ease of using layer cakes.. The quality of the fabric I found to be of good quality.

Just what I needed!

My package of 42 in squares measured 10 X 10 1/4. I have to trim each one as my pattern is for 10 in squares. Never have I had this problem in the past so it must just be a fluke.....If you buy this item, be sure to measure each one if you need a square 10 inches.

The fabric is fine, although some rather wrinkled pieces. My real issue is there are only 41 pieces, out the 42 that should be in this layer cake. Need the fabric now and not going through the hassle to return. Just annoying to be one piece short when working with other layer cakes that do have all 42 pieces.

Easy to use for quilting pieces.

Not a bright white. But a very nice tiny bit off white.
