Blown away by these disks. I muscled through some 3/16 thick 6061 t6 with ordinary, “good for aluminum” cut off disks. These just blitz aluminum! In the pic, the too and bottom are cuts made with the “ordinary” cut off wheels. The right hand side is from the BA wheel (it’s NOT deburred). Note that CLEAN edge. 5 of 5 - would absolutely buy again!

I used these to cut 1/8 inch aluminum bar to make a tool to mount for my motorcycle. I only ended up needing one so it would be nice to be able to order a smaller pack. I’ll probably try using it on other metals and maybe even plastic. I have used a regular grinder wheel to cut thick plastic and it worked fine.

Seem to last longer then one we were using and cut thin material w/o build up at cut sight. Great price and better value

Worked great! Needed to do a lot of cutting and grinding aluminum as I modified an aluminum flatbed to fit my truck. Normal al-ox cutting discs load up with melted aluminum and either lose their cutting power or shatter. These did the job admirably, cutting the aluminum quickly. They do wear down faster than good al-ox do on steel, but that’s to be expected as they escape the sticky fate of those by constantly shedding to prevent build-up. They also seem to work ok on steel, though I have others I prefer for that purpose. Nice and thin for thin kerfs and quicker cuts. Note: this is for the thin cutting discs

Countless cuts on 8 aluminum I beam, 3/8 thick. These cut off wheels performed flawlessly for every one Ive used. Almost went through 2 packs. Can also use on steel with no problem if you run out of use on aluminum. Also made many cuts on stainless pipe, S40. Highly recommend.

If you need to cut thru aluminum, this is the cutting wheel to use. For the price, you cannot beat these. Well made and perfect on aluminum.
