This is perfect for my swing. I originally just had a screw in bolt holding it in the beam. But people would spin and cause it to unscrew. This is what you want if you have a hanging swing. Very safe and holds tight.

Perfect for a hanging chair!

These are great quality, and silent when swinging. I purchased two of these mounts. We used them on two chair swings in our family room. They are completely silent smooth and strong. I have tried a couple of different options for these swings. This is the first one that was perfect. Highly recommended. No problem with the pin as described in other reviews, but it is not a kids swing, its an adult hanging chair in a nice family room, so that may be the difference. No problems at all. (I did spray paint them to make them match the room decor)

The motion on this is great. Its a very solid piece of hardware and I feel much safer with my kids swinging from this as well as little to know twisting of ropes with the smooth ball bearing action.

I wish it came with a connector but it didnt say that it would so Im not taking off any stars for that.

These things were perfect for installing our hanging egg chairs. I love the way that they look and the bearings are super smooth.

Says rated to 800lbs but my 220lb son was swinging on it and it broke right in half at the center junction point after only a few months of light usage.
