> 24 hourMy son chose this as a gift for his sister. It is beautiful. She absolutely loves it, uses it for her tea often, and he is pleased he got her a gift she really likes. Its been thru the dishwasher a lot and still looks new.

> 24 hourThe Totoro Dondoko Dance Large Japanese Teacup is made of thick porcelain, so heat transfer from hot tea is unlikely to burn the hand. It really is porcelain, as can be seen in its translucency, and also by its unglazed bottom (which confirms that it is not made of translucent glass). The artwork is beautifully done, and all of the figures are incised into the surface. I also like the larger-than-usual capacity (350 mL or 1.5 cups or 12 fluid ounces).

> 24 hourThis is great, it’s the perfect size for how much I like to drink of any beverage and doubles as more than enough space for a cup of soup. I don’t recommend microwaving it, however when you pour a hot liquid directly into the cup becomes exactly the right temperature to warm your hands if they are cold or feel cozy when it is warm out. I have sensitive skin and it doesn’t get too hot via this method. I suspect this is the design intention as when I was in Japan during a winter/spring I had a tea at a place out of a cup like this and the effect was similar. I suspect this is a traditional cup for exactly this purpose too! Its really quite perfect, a bit shinier than pictured, warm when a hot liquid is in it (or very cool and sweats if an ice cold liquid is in it), keeps your hands warm when they are cold. Overall amazing cozy feel and it’s adorable yet stylish as well. Loving my Totoro cup!

> 24 hourIts cute and lovely made, the only negativity is, that the cup gets hot, if you put very hot tea in it. Otherwise its finely made, I think. I bought it originally in Japan in the Ghibli shop as a gift, but later I decided I would like to have one also for myself.
