> 24 hourI was looking for a monitor specifically designed to work with the M1 Mac-book Pro. While it definitely works just fine with my 14” MBP M1, I don’t feel it’s worth the extra money. Seems like many newer monitors are now also connection hubs. The monitor does not have an Ethernet port and for a device designed to work with a laptop, seems like a LAN connection should be standard. I have such on many other monitors costing much less. The brightness is also seemingly dim compared to every other monitor I have ever used. Bottom line, even if wanting a BENQ monitor, I would go with a cheaper model unless you absolutely need the thunderport connectivity.

> 24 hourI had a Benq PD2700U that I liked a lot. But I needed a bigger screen. So I bought this monitor thinking that it would be identical to the PD2700U with the size being the only difference. Boy was I wrong. Right after I turned it on for the first time, I noticed the brightness was not high. So I tried to adjust it and it was still relatively low. I looked at the specs and found out that the brightness only goes up to 300 nits. What??? I was very disappointed. The brightness is okay at night when there is no daylight coming from the window. So if you are in a room where there is not that much light, then this monitor will be fine. But I am not about to close the blinds during the day because the peak brightness of this monitor is very low. I like daylight and sun in coming through the window so I would just rather adjust the brightness on the monitor accordingly. And at night, I can turn the brightness down. I looked at other competitors and they all had at least 400 nits of brightness. After a lot of research, I decided to purchase the Dell U3219Q. What a difference! The peak brightness is great. Plus it is $500 cheaper than this monitor. I love it and would certainly recommend it! In conclusion, I really wanted to like this monitor. But I am going to return it because the brightness level is just too low. In my opinion, there is no excuse why Benq decided to limit the brightness to just 300 nits ON A $1200 MONITOR! Totally unacceptable. Even their cheaper 4k 32 inch alternative monitor has a higher brightness (PD3200U). But I didnt like the older classic design on that one which is why I didnt buy it. Also, the PD2700U monitor that I have is brighter. Hopefully the successor to this monitor will have a higher peak brightness to match the competitors. The one bright spot about this monitor is the great modern design. The cabinet is a little thick but overall it is very good looking. This is the only reason why I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 star.

> 24 hourI work from home. This monitor easily supports my work Apple Mac Book Pro M1 and my personal Mac mini M1. The remote switch allows me to move from one computer to another. Also allows Picture in Picture control and more. Great resolution with Thunderbolt and HDMI. Easy to mount to VESA stand. Very pleased. Great monitor.

> 24 hourI purchased this monitor after purchasing then returning an ASUS Proart 329c. That monitor came in with a broken USB-C port and dead pixels. The customer service is what led me to return the monitor. This monitor came in and the only defect is the AUX port. Anything plugged -in creates popping in the speakers. I just connect that to my MacBook. Other than that, the monitor is amazing. No dead pixels and a better value. In my experience, for less money you get more features and better quality, and that’s just including the hardware. The monitor wakes up faster and the rotation feels smooth. All in all, I’ve never tried BenQ products before but I am much happier and Will never try ASUS ever again.

> 24 hourJust got the second monitor, Im somewhat scared of it going bad because when I received the first one, it was a defected one (half the bottom screen was flickering and sliding up and down every 3 seconds.) When I got the first monitor, the box was glued, had cheap half way across the box, and didnt have any branded tape on it. I thought it was a bit weird to have a tightly glued box (the box had flops, allowing the user to open it up without ripping the box up, and having glue with the flops didnt make any sense at all to me). Nonetheless, it was a defect. I had to pack everything up, waste a good hour putting back everything and setting my old monitor up until I get the new one. The seller might have known the first one was a defect. Maybe, maybe not. But Just got my second one and Im really hoping this one isnt a defect - its a good monitor otherwise.

> 24 hourJust got this monitor, so I may update this later with more details, but heres my unboxing and initial set-up impressions: The monitor stand is a design disaster. It uses a tab/slot twist-lock to attach the stand to the base. It also has a pivoting base feature. The problem, you might surmise, comes when you go to pivot the monitor, youre never quite sure if the monitor is actually pivoting or if youre unlocking the base, as they are essentially the same mechanism. Ive dumped my monitor on my table twice so far (thankfully no apparent damage), and basically now just dont pivot it at all by the stand, and simply adjust the base. Theres also the uncertainty in that youll never know if youve completely locked the stand to the base since the pivot feature allows for a lot of play. The base itself is a weirdly textured, sloped plastic that invites you to place things on it (reading glasses, phones, etc.) but then disappoints by having anything placed on it simply slipping off eventually, thanks to the slope. Honestly, just get a VESA mount, the stand is trash. The color looks good, the viewing angle is incredibly wide, as is typical of an IPS monitor. No noticeable bad pixels, overall backlight illumination looks good - fairly even without any real bleed issues. Dark blacks, bright whites. It has tons of connectivity, supporting analog D-Sub VGA, DVI, DP, and HDMI - this will work with old systems as well as the brand new ones. Its a bit expensive for what you get - a medium-sized 2k monitor - but if you need that form factor, it does the job.

> 24 hourI bought this monitor to edit photos with a Mac mini m1. The monitor out of the box worked well and was easy to setup The manual was hard to find and there where little details of help on the website. However the user manual is listed on the page for the monitor on Amazon so download that. It explains how to setup the monitor for your needs. It like all monitors takes some adjustment for your use. I will be getting Datacolor SpyderX to adjust it. For my use The controls are easy to use once you understand the symbols. The monitor has a wide range of ports to suit your needs which is a help. The stand is very sturdy and the part than latches on to the monitor is metal which is good IMO vs plastic. So far given the price , color representation and features I am happy with it.

> 24 hourI just received this 32monitor today have tried to order another and it was unavailable for weeks. I was reluctant to pay double the amount for this since my previous buy was $700 but WOW!!!!!! I had to download the driver to both ipad and laptop but using the thunderbolt connection...wow it cam alive on both devices! I have a newly bought 12 inch ipad up to date too but the colours on this monitor are brighter than my ipad! I illustrate using Procreate and this is fantastic! I would highly recommend this to an artists using a digital drawing device for sure:)

> 24 hourI can promise you that there is NOT another monitor on the market—in this price range—that has all the features that this one has. I purchased the BL2420PT model and it is incredible. 100% sRGB coverage, 2560 x 1440, and the monitor itself has multiple hinges and points of articulation, for maximum adjustments. I work as a graphic designer and whenever I plug the monitor into my macbook, it looks absolutely stunning. You really cant tell the difference in the picture between this monitor and an apple one. Definitely recommend!!

> 24 hourBrightness and volume cannot be controlled by your Mac keyboard or on-screen display. You must control these settings through the puck or the buttons on the back of the monitor. Otherwise, this seems to be a high quality monitor. The stand is nice and sturdy, and allows a lot of movement. I returned and replaced with an LG 27MD5KL. Yes the LG is a couple hundred $ more expensive, but it works seamlessly with my Mac (and its 5K, not 4K like the BenQ)
