A great monitor for someone switching from a tv. Great stand for the actual monitor, and the screen movement is a plus. For the price the quality is outstanding

Purchase for gamer in household per players request. Player researched many products. Seems to be very happy with the purchase. I haven’t heard any complaints and the quality looks great.

Runs 1080p/120hz VRR, Runs 1440p/120hz VRR, runs 4k60hz VRR. NOT NATIVE 4k. Looks great paired with the Series X. Speakers are good when my sons watch movies or shows, they sound good when I play games, although these are not going to replace headsets. Colors look good, lots of customization in OSD. No uniformity issues. Some IPS glow. No backlight bleed. My real negative is HDR as most know anything less than hdr1000 is not very good. This monitor does a weird weird implementation of HDR. It doesn’t just look like SDR like some HDR400 displays it maps weird. Like it crushes blacks and shadow detail. It’s hard to explain. Overall perfect purchase for me. I don’t use HDR on this. It’s great for FPS, RPG, Racing everything really. Built in sound is good, build quality is excellent.

I purchased this monitor to use for my WFH setup and its perfect! Its the perfect size for my desk and I love that I can adjust the height/tilt of the screen. I also appreciate how well it works with my M1 MacBook Pro. For everyday use, the picture quality is just what you need. I dont use it for gaming so I cant offer any critiques there.

Have been eyeing this monitor for a little while since its release. Finally pulled the trigger on it when it became available and I have no regrets. Upgraded from an EX2510 and couldnt be happier. Colorspace is amazing (considering its specifications for gaming and QHD resolution). Was looking for something that I could game on while getting the most out of my Xbox Series X (specifically the 120FPS) and also something that I could use Photoshop with for color accurate work. I had my hands on the LG GP-950 (4K @ 120hz) but was a little disappointed it didnt have any eye care Solution (low blue light options). Returned it - bought this and never looked back. The low blue light option makes a world of a difference if you want to sit down and play games for more than an hour or so in a dim lit room. Not to mention features I didnt find on other monitors such as automatic input switching from wherever its getting signal, an extremely efficient menu system (by far my favorite) as well as just a generally great IPS panel that hits the sweet spot. BenQ takes a while to release their products and might be behind their competitors in terms of specs, but they are well worth the wait because they do it the way it should be done. The speaker system thats built in is no joke. If youre a casual user and just want to use it to playback audio for entertainment or gaming, this is by far the best sounding built in speaker system youre going to find. My only gripe is I dont use it (route my audio to Yamaha HS8s for audio work) so I feel a nice chunk of the price comes from the sound system built in. Regardless, this is an EXCELLENT monitor that hits the sweet spot for gaming and professional color accurate work. Im sure in the near future theyll offer a 4k monitor with HDMI 2.1 aimed at console gamers and I would upgrade to that when the time comes.

Highly recommended if you want a monitor with good speakers. I got the 1080p 165. Colors are amazing, can be used for non-professional video/photo editing. I do notice some white leaks from the sides only when the screen turns black but its not noticeable unless u go looking for it. Sound quality is better than an average monitor speaker(almost as good as my iPhone 11 pro) its not that loud but not that quiet either (I always keep my volume around 40-50). I get direct sunlight in my room and its still bright enough. It’s not height adjustable but u can change the angles. Some games I played: Valorant, COD MW, Genshin Impact, Detroit Become Human. All of them ran beautifully.

Pristine unopened retail packaging. I go through the process of setting up the brand new monitor, plug in the correct cables and input from my computer. Press the power button and the monitor does nothing, doesnt even turn on. Amazon customer support is also incredibly incompetent and cannot even provide a prepaid return label on a defective product. I havent been able to contact BenQ directly, but ill update my review if the manufacturer resolves my issue.
