> 24 hourThis wasnt what i thought it was. I actually wanted heavy chunky yarn for a finger knit afghan, but after I got it I decided to use it and it made a wonderful throw blanket. its not heavy, machine washable and it only took a few days to whip it up. I do have a concern tho about where the other colors are joined. it looks varigated but the alternate colors are sort of stitched together, I am hoping that it lasts

> 24 hourI love this yarn and have bought a bunch of rolls now (lost count) during the making of a massive blanket. BUTTTT not all of the balls are consistent. Some are cut and tied together missing one section of the color half way through a roll or will have a knot in the middle of a color section where two pieces were obviously put together. The first ball I used just had a maybe 3 yard piece of the darkest color wrapped around the outside which made for a very sad discovery a good ways into my project. Other than that this is my favorite yarn. I might refrain from purchasing through Amazon though and just go through the distributor to ensure quality consistency

> 24 hourThe Bernat Blanket Yarn in Burgundy Ombre was the perfect color combination for a basket I crocheted as a gift. The yarn itself was super soft and easy to work with, once I had frogged my first attempt and increased my hook size (to loosen my work, which tends to be tight). Specific to my single skein, each color had a roughly equal length (5 rows of 80sc) and there was only one knot which was close enough to the end that I started with that it was removed without impacting the project. This yarn is closer to bulky than super bulky, in my opinion. It works up quickly and has such a pleasant feel while crocheting and in the finished project that I would love to work with it again.

> 24 hourBernat is the best yarn for blankets. It is the only brand I use when making baby blankets for friends. It is soft and washes very well.

> 24 hourI had to buy 8 of these to make a blanket. It ended up being way more expensive than I Thought.

> 24 hourI’ve crocheted 5 blankets from this yarn. I only know one stitch—and it makes a lovely, heavy, cuddly blanket. The stripes in the yarn make it look like I actually know how to crochet. These are our favorite blankets.
