It took me over 2 years but Ive finally found the perfect urn for my sweet Montee cat. Absolutely beautiful sums it up for me. I got the small one and there is plenty of room for her ashes as well as a momento or two. It appears very well made, has some weight to it and even came a bag to store it away in if you dont want it on display. The lid is very secure once screwed on and the paw prints are a nice touch. In addition it will go well with my decore. I love it so much I ordered 3 additional ones in different colors for my other fur babies...hoping I wont need them for a very, very long time.

I recently lost my little girl to a large tumor on her liver. Her brother and her were my life and my only family. My vet offered cremation services so I had her cremated. I found this and following an excellent idea from another poster I ordered one large enough to add her brothers ashes when the time comes. I rescued them when they were 5 1/2 weeks old and they have never been parted. Together in life...together in death. It sits on top of my TV stand. The urn is surprisingly heavy weight and the lid fits nice and tight. As someone else said the paws are a little rough but this material is very hard and not easy to engrave. (I know, I am a machinist, yes a female machinist and I work with different metals.) The etching is a series of little lines and not rounded. I took black enamel and painted it in the groove and carefully over the rough edges. Now the gold paws stand out on the silver. I am extremely pleased with the quality of the urn and know that my little girl has a safe place for her ashes.

This was an extremely hard item to pick out, since I lost my baby a few weeks ago. It has a screw on top, which I like in case it ever got knocked over. Its heavy and well made. The items was also packaged well and arrived right on time. My sweet baby weighed about 24 pounds, so the small was perfect. Plus, I also had her blanket with her when I had to let go over her. :( I had seen other urns, but this one seemed well made and had good reviews, so I would recommend it to someone else. Plus, I can buy a frame I like and put her picture right beside of it.

I would have given this five stars but there was a mix up with my order. I ordered the black urn with silver paws circling the top of the urn, what I received was the black urn with white painted paws going up one side. A mix up like that isnt easy to handle when youre grieving. Luckily, for me, I had been torn between the two urns when I purchased. The urn I received seemed better suited for my bur baby though. Overall, its a beautiful urn that I will be able to look at fondly while remembering my beloved Sweetie. She will be missed forever.

We recently lost our beloved dog after 14 years of an amazing devoted relationship. Our desire to honor this wonderful animal brought us to search for and purchase two urns. I have never written a review on any purchase, but am compelled to do so about the Best Friend Services urns. Both urns are beautiful. The quality and workmanship is evident in the detail and immaculate finish. Sturdy and well weighted, both more than met our need and display beautifully in our two homes. We could have spent more money, but I seriously believe that we would not have received more quality in doing so.

I got this urn for my sweet boy, Garcia, who passed away August 30th after 17 years, 3 months. Garcia was a 20(ish) lb. Jack Russell. I chose to go with the medium size one so he wouldnt be cramped in there, as he didnt like kennels. His ashes came from Rainbow Bridge in a nice felt pouch and the whole pouch fit in the medium urn with a bit of room to spare. Its a wonderfully made, high quality product and Im waiting to take it someplace to see about getting it engraved. I will try tp update this review when that happens, but I am waiting until I am ready.

My Cat had recently passed away and when I got his ashes back they were in a cardboard box. It was pretty but I wanted something more sturdy that couldn’t get ruined or break. If you are reading this review, I’m sorry for your loss as my heart aches for my beautiful cat. When he had passed he was only 5.1 pounds. I wasn’t sure if the small ern would work. But I purchased it anyways. And it’s absolutely beautiful and his ashes fit perfectly inside. I left him inside his silk pouch and also added some of his fur inside of it.

This urn is sturdy, thick, heavy and well made. The top has a long threaded neck which, unlike less expensive urns, makes sure the lid wont pop off due to a short attachment. The threading tolerances are tight, indicating some excellent tooling and workmanship. The center of gravity is quite low and despite the appearance, the urn is very stable and difficult to knock over. The finish is nigh perfect, and the whimsical hand-hewn paw prints provide a beautiful contrast. Our pet came back from cremation in a less expensive, plain urn that we compared with this urn as we moved the ashes (which came in a plastic bag). This urn is, without a doubt, worth the few extra dollars. The less expensive urns will have lids fail or dent if the fall over. We purchased a size urn based on the weight of our pet (tables are available anywhere on the internet), and the ashes in the bag easily fit into the urn.

I lost my Boxer in May and was not very happy with the urn choices from the vet so I saw and purchased this one. It is very well made and looks beautiful. I am very happy with my purchase.

We got this for our Golden Retriever and am very happy with it. Its beautiful and very well made. I wasnt completely sure about what size to order, so I got the L. There seems to be some conflicting size info between the listing info and the answers to a few questions regarding what size to get. Our Golden was 70 lbs, and that size was much larger than it needed to be. I dont know if a medium would have been a better size or not but we are happy with what I got. I would buy this again if needed for another pet.
