Greater than one weekThis product worked as advertised, giving my patchwork pieces great body and reducing fraying of cut pieces. However, I was rather surprised at how quickly my first spray bottle was emptied! Im not sure this is really a big improvement over spray starch, and I think, for my purposes, its just too expensive. For instance: a half-gallon (64-oz) jug of Sta-Flo liquid starch, which I dilute 1:1 with water and put into a spray bottle, makes a full gallon of the 1:1 spray starch for (currently) $9.31. At this dilution, it produces a nicely starched & stabilized fabric in one spray/iron treatment. To get a piece of fabric starched comparably with Easy Press Fabric Treatment, I needed to spray and iron the fabric two or three times. An Easy Press refill bottle costs $25.99 for 16 oz. (1 pint). (The Easy Press is not diluted for use.) I use a *lot* of spray starch in my quiltmaking process, and, at this rate, I would be spending a small fortune if I switch to the Easy Press. I really was hoping this would be a super new product...and it does work, and it works well; however, I honestly dont see a big advantage that justifies its cost. And, BTW, the very nice continuous spray bottles spray handle is sticking now, after just one bottle-fuls use, and needs to be manually helped open after each squirt.
