I own many different surge protectors as we have a lot of electronics. I like this one the best. Has the flat wall plug to doesnt stick out from the wall. The USB ports are great and eliminate the need of the odd size plug in chargers. Lastly, the plug ins are spaced intelligently so you can plug in a couple of odd sized plugs without blocking the other plugs. Smart decision. Would buy again.

I bought two of these and love the USB charging w/ different voltages and 8 works for my 4 laptops that I use regularly, and some at once. Great product and 2 day Prime shipping is the best (tek). -David Allen

Just what I was looking for.

The whole reason I bought this item was because it had USB ports to charge my devices. But none of the USB ports work. Tried several different cables and several different devices in all the ports but none would work. I like the configuration of the outlets but it does me no good if the USB ports dont work. Its not worth the hassle or cost of return shipping to send it back for refund. Maybe theyll see this review and send me one that works. If so Ill update to 5 stars. Like I said I like the lay out but if it doesnt work then what good is it? Update: Bestek saw my review and sent me another one free of charge. Works great. Must have gotten a lemon. This is a great surge protector. It has these slots that close automatically when your not using the plugs to prevent dust and last longer. It also has 4 USB slots

This is just about the best consumer-oriented surge protector/outlet extension you could ask for. It has a 12 foot cord, is heavy duty, can be turned off, has USB ports with a built-in circuit to determine how much voltage to provide to your device to protect it, and 8 outlets. For the money it is the best around. I would recommend this to a friend, and would definitely buy another.
