> 3 dayThe GOOD: The set I received was fully welded like the image and description indicated. Using pressure treated lumbar, the finished product is very sturdy. The MEDIUM: The fit was snug, so I sanded the ends of the lumbar to make them fit. I should have sanded more, but using a large hammer did the trick to get the legs in. The BAD: I was disappointed that description was unclear on the maximum beam length. The indicated 114 inches and 144 inches. I bought 144, but the included instructions say 114. The bolts I received were not galvanized, I used them anyway, but I will replace them before they start to rust.

22-11-2024Very sturdy, I did have a problem get the 4/6 in to it, needed to shave a little bit and also used a hummer until it was in perfectly

> 3 dayEasy to use. Made me feel like a pro, product is strong and sturdy. I used dry wood from an indoor lumber yard. Wood slid in without any pounding. 24 lag bolts and washer were easy to use, strong, with NO issues with bolt holes being spaced too close.

> 3 day4x4 legs, 4x6 beam and two of these brackets. Done. Nope. The lateral movement was very worrying. Wish these had heavier duty bolts. We ended up adding support arms to increase stability and reduce the side to side sway. It was necessary to trim down the 4x6 beam to get these to fit. Disappointed. On the flip side the swing hangers from Betool are awesome.

> 3 dayThe fit was REALLY tight and we had to shave down the wood to fit it in the bracket. Other than that, it’s great!

Greater than one weekI used stainless steel lag bolts and washers, I primed and painted all attaching hardware, to reduce the rust factor. My wife helped me install the supports, and it went great, we installed one on both ends first, then stood up the swing set, and installed the other support. All support beam, and legs were a good fit, a little wiggle room, which you need to set all legs, and support. I painted all legs and beams to match the support brackets. It all looks great, and I will have many years use for my porch swing, good job!
