> 24 hourSo Ive been wanting to learn Japanese for about 15 years now. I was born there and USED to be able to speak a little, but we left when I was 3 and I havent been around enough Japanese people (or text) to immerse myself in the language. My dad was in the military so we moved around a lot: Japan, Greece, Germany and the US. Through out all of those places I was always a Nipponophile; loved Asian culture, Japanese food, martial arts movies etc... When we moved to Alabama I started getting really serious about martial arts & spent the next 10 years training and going to tournaments all over the US. Throughout all of it, I had a desire to relearn the Japanese language, so when this book came out I was elated! With my Japanese - English dictionary in one hand and this book in the other I painstakingly reverse-translated the entire thing, teaching myself Japanese in the process!!! The only issue I had with the book is that baby Luke was referred to as a girl on page 347, which threw off weeks translation until I discovered the error. Upon discovery of the error I notified Mr. Stover who immediately rectified the situation by assuring me that all future printings of the Japanese version of episode 3 would be adjusted accordingly.
