I was a little worried that the new large leg openings would be too large, but they are great! I tried Big Elephant training pants before and the leg holes were so tiny they wouldnt even fit a baby doll, so I had to throw them away. I was disappointed as I really like the construction of the layers of materials and the water resistant barrier layer, so when I saw this new design I grabbed them. Im so glad I decided to try again, as these fit my 3 yr old granddaughter (3T size) perfectly! The gusset on the legs (the extra layer) seems kinda weird at first, but it works much like a disposable diapers with the gusset inside, to help slow the flow of liquid. I was also worried that the bulk of seams on the inside of the upper leg opening would be uncomfortable, but doesnt seem to be at all, and doesnt leave any lasting marks on the skin. These actually stop moisture from getting to the outer layer really well, unlike Gerber training pants where it just runs right through. Now these are not water proof, but are excellent at slowing the wetness down a lot. I couldnt feel any moisture on the outer layer, but I also didnt leave them on long enough to test that feature. Im very pleased with how absorbent these are. Now these wont hold multiple accidents or real large volumes of liquid before it leaks out the sides, but they arent suppose to, they are to help a child realize they are wet and associate that with the need to go potty before wetting their pants. My granddaughter can pull these up and down fairly easy and will get better as time goes by. Between her new potty chair and new panties shes been happy to use the potty often. I need more of these to last throughout the day, but totally worth every penny. I guess Ill be finding out how consistent the brand is between batches of undies soon enough. As for the claim of 100% cotton? Not so sure about that, as the inside of the leg gusset seems more like a faux vinyl than cotton - Ill assume this gusset and the water resistant layer is the same material. But Im happy with cotton next to the skin, so not really worried about the entire pant being cotton. I could be wrong and its some new process to make cotton so tightly woven that it is water resistant. These wash and dry really well. I dont lay flat to dry as the label says to do, takes way to long to dry, and they didnt shrink in the dryer - but I was careful to not over dry them either.

At first I wasn’t impressed because it’s a little bulky and then after my son had his first accident in them I changed my mind. Now I love them. We use them as our bedtime undies.

BIG ELEPHANT training underwear is general good. Size seems to run true to size. The stitching seems good, it shows no problem for the last 2 rounds of washes. The wings are ok - it’s this shiny material, that maybe good for water proofing but probably doesn’t feel great on the skin. The tag is thick and is on the inside so we need to cut it to not be scratchy but hard to know what size it is after we cut. The first day we tried this, my toddler peed a full load and bounced on my back... it did not end well. But no stars deducted for that episode as it is probably not made for full loads of pee getting thrown around. Overall, fine as part of training underwear stock.

I have three great nephews who come by to stay with me quite often. I love watching them and like to help with their training. They range in age from five days to 2 years 2 months, so these training pants will be so helpful for a long time. They are really cute, with boyish designs in boyish colors. There are blues, greys, and ranges within those colors. The designs are really nice, like elephants!! What really impresses me is the softness. They are made of all cotton, but it is the softest cotton youll ever feel. The elastic around the leg is even soft, with part of the lining coming out of the legs so it doesnt irritate the leg. The lining is to catch any accidents because they are, after all, training pants. They dont absorb any urine like diapers where they dont feel the wetness. They idea of training is to make them a little uncomfortable so they want to stop wetting their pants! The lining is equally soft. These BIG ELEPHANT Baby Boys Pure Cotton Potty Training Pants are a hit with my great-nephews and me. Ill let them pass down to each one as they need them when at my house and hopefully help them in their potty training. I highly recommend them to anyone with little boys!!

I love that these have the internal waterproof gussets. However, the waist band is poorly designed and the elastic broke on one pair within 2 days of wear. I reached out to customer service noting this and have not received any response. Overall, disappointing.

Much larger than expected. I also ordered the boy print and received the girl. Thick padding just wish I’d gotten the boy print for my son.

From the perspective of Hey, cute undies for my toddler--theyre are adorable and look like theyll fit well, these training pants are fun, colorful, and fit as expected. Theyre just as good as any other brand, if not maybe a little more expensive. The quality of the training pants is great and the pure cotton is definitely a healthy alternative. That being said, when you read all the hype about them being 100% absorbent and yadda, yadda, yadda, they fall VERY short. They leak. Very bad. Worse, perhaps, than non-absorbent training pants. The added stuff, which is supposed to catch the pee, only makes the underwear a little uncomfortable rather than helping any. So, nice undies. Bad absorbency. Youre better off with any other kind of underwear for your toddler if youre looking for just plain underwear, and better off with a pull-up (which is still inferior to even these training pants) with youre looking for absorbency.

These little training pants are great. They have soft waterproof leakguards around the leg holes so nothing is going to leak out. These are very very absorbant and cute. Ive bought several different brands of training pants for toddlers and these are THE BEST ONES!!!
