The silicone is super soft and it didn’t smell like chemicals when I removed it from the package. My 4 month old loves it. The open heart detail makes it easy for her to hold. Just go ahead and get it. You’ll love this sweet little elephant. We certainly do!

The little hole in the teether is perfect to connect pacifier clips, if your baby is anything like my son and likes to throw things then this is perfect for that. The hole is also cute cause it’s shaped in a heart and it’s the perfect size for his little hands to grab. When I first opened it you can smell that it was new, it had that new silicone smell. Nothing a good boil won’t remove though.
