This is the one hair product that I can’t live without. I started using it when my hairstylist started using it, and I noticed how much smoother my hair look, how much easier it was to stylet, and how long the style lasted. A little goes a long way. I bought the product on the left in my picture and the one on the right I have had for several years. I absolutely love it.

I first learned about BioSilk from the stylist who trimmed my hair. At the time, I had waist length fine gray hair. Because of the length and texture, my hair tangled terribly when washed. I used to use lots of conditioner and still struggled to comb it out. I explained this to my stylist before she washed my hair. She used a conditioner; but, in my opinion, not nearly enough. Imagine my surprise when, after towel drying my hair and using a quarter-sized squirter of something (the BioSilk) she was able to comb through my hair with NO TANGLES ! I do not notice an odor or fragrance to the product, but is worked magic on my tangles and left my hair silky and lovely.

I have curly hair which I can wear curly or straight. This product helps keep my hair from being frizzy. If I’m wearing it straight it tames it out . It’s also good for your hair.

A salon owner had suggested this product for after a major surgery to reduce the sign of scars. 20 years later I have found it again and use for my hair. The original intention of the product, I think, is for hair. I comb it into my freshly shampoo/conditioned hair and let it soak in. Reduces frizzies and strengthens the ends so they dont break off. As far as applying to fresh scars, reduces the appearance of scars; apply twice daily being sure not to let it get into the open wound/surgical site. Reduces redness and appearance of scar.

Ive always used Silk Works on my curly, frizzy hair, and it worked just fine. Now I cant find that product anywhere even though its made by the same company as BioSilk. So I tried the BioSilk. Never again. It simply did very little to moisturize or calm the frizz. I used more of it at a time to see if maybe I just wasnt using enough. All that did was make my hair start out looking greasy, but after a couple of hours, the frizz was back. Im sooooo disappointed because I love Silk Works and thought this might be a good substitute. Not the case.
