> 3 dayThis is my first suitcase. for my first flight. LOVED IT! its very well built, and has some really great features. I was really afraid to get something flimsy and fragile. This suitcase is very very durable!

Greater than one weekI liked the design of travellers choice. Super light weight, heavy duty nylon fabric, its expandable, sturdy and with several compartment. Almost perfect to me except the thread was use on the lining is not heavy duty.

> 3 dayI really like how sturdy the bag is made and its a pretty shade of red. I wish it would have been true to size. Unfortunately Im returning the bag because there have been multiple iterations of the Birmingham and the one I received through the warehouse was not like the one pictured. The one I received had large bulky handles on the top and side which added about 2 inches to the height and width. Additionally the depth is about 12 inches when empty due to the nice roomy pockets on the front which are bigger than the pockets on the one shown. But those added inches put the bag at 62 inches preventing you from using the expansion on a plane unless you want to pay for an oversized bag.

> 3 dayAmazing value and a great bag. This is my third Travelers Choice roller bag. The first (a Sienna) cost about $65 and lasted 5-6 years, Im still on my second Sienna and bought this because Im traveling internationally and needed something slightly smaller.

> 3 daySo far, so good, but I withheld one star for the moment only because I only took it on one European trip so I dont have a lot of data on its durability yet. Im not too knowledgeable on luggage, but what I found on the internet said that nylon is preferable to polyester for soft sided luggage. Nylon may scuff, but is much less likely to rip than polyester. The other nylon bags of this size I could find seemed to be in the $200 price range. This one was nylon in the $100 price range, the price at which the competition is polyester bags. It also said to look at the denier rating (thickness) of the material, suggesting you look for one in the 500 – 2,000 denier range. This bag is 1680 denier, which is pretty thick on that scale.
