> 24 hourI personally like this unique metal for many reasons. The main one though is it gets my kids and my kids friends interested in something other than video games when we melt it and make ingots and crystals its a fun time for ALL

> 24 hourI bought this for my wife to make crystals with,,I only got 5 pounds ...well that is not enough to make decent sized crystals with the setup she is using so my only advice is to get alot!! If you think you have enough for what you want to do, buy five more pounds..lol. my wife did get some really nice color and formations from the five pounds I purchased . But I believe she will need at least ten more pounds to get large crystals (15 pounds all together) another tip I have is ...get as many crystals out on the first cooling cycle because each time you reheat you lose metal to slag on the surface!! I am definitely buying more from this seller!!!

> 24 hourWould like to know what these stains are on my recent 5 lb bismuth metal order. I have used Rotometals in the past for 10s of pounds of bismuth and they have been flawless. If theres any chance these stains will contaminate the rest of my Bismuth once melted down, I would respectfully ask for a refund or another order. I will take down/edit this review upon fulfillment

> 24 hourDo not go by the stock photo. Two or five lbs of this metal will be small because of its weight. I knew this, so I was happy. Its Bismuth. It is heavy, it melts, it came in a chunk.

> 24 hourI cornered my house with bismuth. 2 chunks each corner in the basement sills with a heavy magnet as a draw. I did this in the garage rafters with a 4000 lb. magnet as a draw. I also used a chunk to hold a 750 lb. magnet in place at a point of electrical interference.

> 24 hourProduct is exactly as advertised. We melted over and over again to make crystals. Were able to produce at least 10 well defined and beautifully colored crystal clusters of ~1X1, and 1X2 in dimension before the metal in our pan was too shallow.
