Bissell Replacement Belts, 2 Count (Pack of 1)

I was hesitant to purchase at 1st due to reading bad reviews about it not fitting/snapping. I have to say it works for my Bissell model 2191. My wife has vacuumed at least 10 times and it works like the original belt. I installed it (it fits snug) and rotated the vacuum brush a few times before using it. I attached pics so you can see the size of the new belt compared to the original snapped belt. Overall great price and also great that it came with 2 belts so if this one snaps in the next few years, I have a back up.

I installed the new belt, started to vacuum, the vacuum got caught on the edge of a rug (which happens often) and the belt broke. Yep, within minutes. Questionable quality.

AFTER SETTING IT UP, THE MAIN PART I CONTINUED TO ASSEMBLE THE REST OF THE VACUIM. SOME OF THR INSTRUCTION WERE NOT VERY CLEAR TO ME AS HOW SOME OF THE ATTACHMENTS WENT AND WHAT PART TO USE TO FASTEN THEM TO THE VERTICAL HANDLE WERE. THE PICTURES WERE HARDLY SEEABLE. THEY LOOKED LIKE SOMEONE WAS SKETCHING A PICTURE ON LIGHT TAN PAPER USING VERY LIGHT STROKER. aND THE ON AND OFF SWITH TO ME IS LOCATED WAY TO FAR DOWN O THE LOWER HANDLE. IT SHOULD HANE BEEN MOUNTED HIGHER UP JUST BELOW THE POWER BRUSH ON ETHER SIDE. WHERE IT IS NOW YOU HAVE TO BENT TO FAR TO THE LEFT TO TURN IT ON. THER WISE EVERY THING WORD LIKE THEY SAID IT WOULD. WHEN I FIRST TURNED IT ON, THE BRUSH SETTIN WAS SET TO LOW AND IT ABOUT RAN AWWAY FROM ME. THIS VACIUM HAS PLENTY OF SUCTION POWER. WHEN I WAS PULLING IT BACKWADRS YOU COULD REALLY FEEL THE SUCTION. I VACUMED THE CARPET WITH OLD VAV, AND GO HARDLY ANY DUST, OR OTHER JUNK. THEN OUT CAME THE TANK. I HAD 1.5 INCES OF FINE DIRT, ON TOP OF THAT SOME KIND OF HAIR, AND LOTS OF IT. IT IS THE BEST VACUM I HAVE USED; THE OTHER BRANDS IN MY WORDS WOULD NOT STAND A CHANCE

I love that my vacuum works again without replacing it. I love feeling like a badass for disassembling a household appliance and it still works afterward. Since it came with two, I can let my ten year old vacuum again without fearing that shell suck up another sock and burn out the belt again. The only thing that would make this better would be if it were somehow computerized so that I didnt personally have to vacuum. I guess it would also be cool if I could remember where I put the second one because I buy a two pack each time it happens and honestly there are probably like 5 of them in my house somewhere, waiting to be found AFTER I give up on the vacuum. Youd think they would have developed vacuum technology enough that this wouldnt be an issue anymore, I remember my mother replacing vacuum belts in the 70s. Cant we move past this yet? Im talking to you, Bissell. Hoover. Anyone who will listen. How necessary is this bit of technology? Cant you make a vacuum that doesnt require replacement parts?

I ordered these only to have extra in the house IF I need them, Im assuming replacing them will be easy.

Took a little pulling to install, but has been working for over a month with no breakage!

The belt worked great as a replacement for my Bissell vacuum. Easy to install (although it had to stretch a bit so took some strength).

It took a lot of searching to become confident that this should work even though the Bissell site says there is no such part number. What apparently matters more is the Style, which on the 3031123 is shown as 7/9/10; the new belt fits Styles 7/9/10/12.
