    I ordered one and it seemed to already be used and jammed with the little test piece that comes with it. It would not work or move. I ordered a replacement and it ran but had also been used before as it had the batteries already in it. It didn’t work properly. I would not recommend this product

    I tried using this handheld sewing machine for small items like a bag strap and repairing a small hole in a makeup bag but the lip to fit the item in between the base and the needle was too small and made it very difficult to use. This item made me want to just take out the needle and thread. I ultimately ended up returning the item.

    MOST OF THE REVIEWS are for some other product. Not for the sewing machine. So the 4.8 Star rating is meaningless. This is probably more like a 3-star item. Know what you are and are NOT getting with this product. It is fairly lightweight and will need to be hand-held while you use it. There is no information on getting the 6v DC adapter. Im not 100% sure one will actually work with it if I find one. You can remove the test cloth that comes with the sewing machine, but you have to manually turn the wheel counter clockwise after unlocking the arm. It will be slow to move, so give it time. Be careful as you pull out the TEST material and thread that you guard the needle. It is possible to break it. Otherwise, with care and following instructions, this is likely to be a serviceable purchase. But it is fussy to set up and use.

Main Features:
1. Requires 4 x 1.5V AA batteries (not included). Please pay attention to the order of positive and negative battery. Or DC 6V power adapter (not included).
2. Make sure your fabric is 1.8mm thick. Materials that are too large, too hard or too soft cannot be sewn.
3. Metal gears have high strength, low hum, and are not easy to slip.

Warm tips:
1. Please read the instructions carefully before use.
2. This is a single wire sewing machine with no background line, so you need to tie the knot at the beginning and end after sewing, otherwise the line will fall off easily.
3. The battery cannot be mixed with another brand or with an old battery and a new one.
4. The thickness of the fabric should be ≤1.8mm, and cannot be processed with too thick or too thin fabric.
5. Materials not suitable for sewing: Elastic (eg, like nylon stockings) or very thin fabric that will fall into the sewing machine, or very thick or very hard cloth (may even damage the machine).
6. Please follow the instructions and threading instructions, because wrong threading the sewing machine will not work properly.
