Black Leather Zipper Case for Missals, Liturgy of the Hours and Prayer Books

> 24 hourI ordered this as a gift for mom and sister (who have the Christian Prayer Liturgy of the HOurs). It fits great and is very practical as far as protecting the book, and even holding additional prayer cards. However, the description claims it is real leather, yet it doesnt feel so. My moms had contact with a little water and became a little stretched out. I have the four set colored book covers for my four vol liturgy and its seems to be a better leather (maybe different type???) Otherwise, it fits the bill for a decent price. Also, although there is no opening for the ribbon book mark, the zipper zips from top to bottom, so one can let the ribbons hang out from the bottom.

> 24 hourI purchased the 4 volume set of these covers from Catholic publishing co. At first I thought the fit was too tight. But within a week the covers soften up and the fit is actually perfect. Very good quality cover and the fit is a comfortable fit. Correct size and more and more flexible with each use. Love it. Would definitely buy it again. Although, I think these are so well made, it will be a long time (years) before I would have to replace them. Also would definitely recommend them as five star quality and a great buy to all my friends or anyone who asked.

> 24 hourThis case is working perfectly for my Christian Prayer volume. Although some reviewers don’t like that the zipper closes starting near the bottom (because it can catch the ribbons), I actually like this feature, because the current design does not scratch my bookshelf. Just take care to zip around the ribbon and there is no problem.

> 24 hourThis item is almost perfect: fits my breviary well, no problem with ribbons, good strong zipper. I dont think its leather (which may make it more resistant to moisture) and I dont like the shiny surface, but in all other ways: just great. Service was fast and it was well packed.

> 24 hourI do like that the quality is good, but I didnt really know it was textured and I dont like the feel of it. I was hoping something more supple soft like leather. It is more hard shell like. It works so worth the investment

> 24 hourThe zipper placement was not thought out well, making it hard to zipper it up without getting the ribbons caught in the zipper. Most well-made breviary/bible covers have a flap, so that it pushes the ribbons into the cover, thereby allowing one to zip it up without catching the ribbons. I will say this; a reviewer said that it was not what was described, namely that it wasnt leather. It is actually described as imitation leather, which, of course, is not leather. Overall, it wouldnt be a bad cover, if it werent for the zipper situation.

> 24 hourPleather! The newer 1962 Missal by Baronius Press is to big to fit in this case.
