BLACK+DECKER Portable Space Heater, 1500W Room Space Heater with Carry Handle for Easy Transport

My heat went out and I had to get something really quick. I got 4 or 5 of. They were on prime and delivered the next day I believe. They came, I fired them up and the heat was good for the room. Kept the door closed and man, they worked. However, my power went out. Long and short I had to unplug a lit of my other appliances and electronics to have it work. Had to reset my breaker ad it kept chipping out. Heat worked fine. Honestly the description is true, it does heat up even a medium to large room, but the surge thing was a problem. I am not sure if its because I had too many. But I returned them after.

Bout this for work. My clinic is in the inside of a shopping center that freezes in the winter and burns in the summer (Minnesota). This was a great purchase, for me and my desk mate. My favorite is the safety feature that it has to be on a flat surface(theres a latch onthe bottom) for it to function correctly.

Im returning it because its just too darn loud—just like Martys band in Back to the Future. I cant have it on while on Zoom calls or even while talking to someone seating next to me, and I can hear it from other parts of the house. If you want it to double as a white noise machine, then itd be great for that. Also, the dial on the left doesnt seem to do anything. My favorite thing about it was that it sort of looks like an owl.

I rarely write reviews other than 5 or 1 star. But I will say this product, for me, was exactly what I needed. I have a 100sq ft or so office that is just a little too cold in the winter as one entire wall is glass to the exterior. The regular building heat just doesnt do good enough for me. This little heater really bridges the gap to make it comfortable to work without a sweatshirt in the lower power mode. There is a fan, I dont find it distracting, reasonably quiet. I would say great for a small office space or bedroom sized room to help out a bit keeping it comfortable.

Heater worked ok until used an extension cord, it melted the plug. Also when trying to remove device plug from extension, the plug insert was removed…..faulty device

got from a.w had to install fan on motor,was not on shaft great heat output.fan is a little loud but strong

Nice little compact space heater. Got it to reduce the heating bill and use it in my bedroom, which is very spacious. This little heater gets the entire room nice and toasty, sometimes even too toasty!

I am disappointed because I am a huge fan of black and decker products and I expected better heat output for a small space. It hasnt met my expectations.
