I use this inside of my filter socks and it does a great job at keeping my water polished and clean looking. I change out the socks every 3 days and it definitely helps with nutrient control.

I have had a lot of trouble with this floss causing cloudy water. I rinse it very well before using but it still causes cloudy water. At first I thought I was having a bacteria or algae bloom but the cloudiness cleared up after removing this floss. A few we later I tried it again and cloudy water returned and persisted until I removed it again.
