The product is fine. The one star review is for Blueair, no customer support. I have left voicemails, emails, and have probably 20 open support tickets that have never been answered.

At the six months mark, I change my filter. When you take the old one out you can see just how much it is filtering out of the air you breathe! Well worth the investment.

This blueair filter emits a horrible sour smell. I let it run for a few days and the smell is still there.

Love my Blueair! Has helped my allergies and sensitivities. Works better than others I have tried. Replacement filter is exactly like original. Good life working 24/7. Only noisy if you crank it up and still not bad. Senses air quality extremely well. I will buy again.

I changed this filter in about 1 minute. I waited about 9 months to change it. Six months (which is recommended) is probably better.

Have COPD this works for particulates

BlueAir 211 Purifier is the BEST. It does clean the air and requires very little but a place to plug it in. Follow the instructions and buy the one appropriate for your size room,

This genuine Blueair 211+ filter puts out a sickening chemical smell that will not go away after 48 hours like they say. Could not stand it after a week. Returned for replacement.

I like my Blueair air pruifier. The fabric filters work well for a long time. But when they need to be replaced, you notice the difference. I keep one or two handy.

It’s a filter. As long as it fits, nothing to worry about. I don’t have a way to measure the effectiveness.
