This is an excellent cable in performance and material quality - and at a very reasonable price! This ultra-fast data cable supports all the latest HDMI specifications. Just to be clear - this is an EXTENSION cable - it will not work as a cable between your TV and DVD player (for example) BY ITSELF. Just like an electrical extension cord, its meant to have another cable plugged into it... so of course, if you need the latest HDMI specs, your second cable needs to support them as well. But if you need more reach, or if you want to do as one of the photos shows and protect your port from excessive unplugging/plugging by using a short, dongle cable, this will work great! And to further clarify: I got this cable as a preview. The Amazon page at the time inaccurately described this as a 4-pack. I assume it will be correct in the final version, but for the record, this is a single pack.

When I hooked it from my laptop to my tv the screen was going crazy and it wasn’t even showing the image that was on the laptop

If you plug it in a leave it with no movement on the plug ends its a wonderful cable. If you unplug and plug in a lot and put stress on it then find something not so stiff.

Love it. This does the job. I only have two HDMI ports on the very back of my television which is close to a wall and not easy to access. With four devices (DVD, Roku, XBox, and Amazon Fire Stick) requiring an HDMI connection, it was very cumbersome to access the back of the TV to switch the device out at the port. Enter the BlueRigger HDMI extension cable. This has extended one of the ports from the back center of the TV to where I can easily switch devices at the side or bottom of the TV. This is great and has saved me a lot of trouble. I have noticed no lack of quality or difference from plugging directly to the TV so consider me highly satisfied. :)
