Bont Skates Waxed Laces - 6mm & 8mm - 47 71 79 96 108 - Midnight Black

I like the thinner width of these laces (6mm) though I’m not a fan of the waxy feel. They do stay tied well with the wax, but they leave marks on my suede skates. I’ve melted off some of the wax by soaking in very hot water with a bit of dish soap and hanging to dry. This may affect the performance, but the texture is better for me.

Bought these leases to replace a set of rollerblades, I want to make sure I got a set that were extra strong and also the right length, these fit the bill. Great size, thickness, construction appears to be quite well. Of course we’ll see how they hold up overtime but initial quality, my assessment is I am quite happy with the purchase.

I have Reidell boots—bought in 2012. I finally replaced those original laces this year (2022). Major difference. I guess I took laces for granted, but they do have an affect on fit and how a skate works with your foot. Anyway, those old original laces just kept feeling thinner and more and more ‘wire’ like. They didn’t break, but I always felt like that was just a matter of time, so I preemptively bought these to replace them. These immediately felt so much more secure. The wider surface made the entire boot feel more substantial. I probably had to lace less tightly, which maybe then gave me a wider range of lacing options. Definitely would buy again, and more than that, if/when I ever need to replace my boots, I’ll just start off with these laces instead of the stock pair.

I purchased these laces to replace some worn laces on a pair of bont semi race skates. They are exactly what I needed. Very high quality.

These were a perfect replacement lace for my Riedell Solaris skates.

Bought 3 pairsof these. They are great laces, were delivered early every time, and the packing was friendly and made me smile. Great company and great product!

I love having a spare set of laces so if Im on a long trail skate I can easily pull them out of my fanny pack. The fact that theyre waxed means they arent loosening on me while on long distance skates which is a huge plus.
