As a day-pack for a half-business, half pleasure trip into the city, this pack worked wonderfully. With the straps properly fastened it sits very comfortably and even fully loaded is comfortable to carry for an entire day without impeding movement. The first one I received, even though it appeared to be in original packaging, had scratches on the hard outer shell (see pics) but it didnt seem like a big deal so I decided to keep it instead of returning it which I eventually had to do for another reason. The hard outer shell is pretty durable and protection for the inside contents which included my laptop, tablet , charging brick and other miscellaneous items, was not an issue. Ill be submitting an update to this review to include a video highlighting some of the main features as well as the major flaw which eventually resulted in a return. A five day business trip was a major test for the backpack and it served as my carry-on. I did end up using the expanding option but it held all my devices as well as an extra set of emergency clothes. It fit comfortably under my seat on the plane and was easy to access during the flight. It was also easy to use passing through TSA security. Prime features include a padded back with a hidden pocket under a luggage strap. It has two usb outlets on the one lower side which was really convenient to charge my phone on the go. The only complaint is that it only has the older usb connections so I had to use a usb C adapter. There is also a convenient carry-handle on the top of the pack. One feature I really liked was that the rigidity of the hardshell made it easy to stand the pack upright. THE MAJOR FLAW ... Let me preface this by saying I really do like the backpack and received multiple compliments from associates and complete strangers while I was using it. However, this one major manufacturing flaw makes it difficult to justify the somewhat steep asking price. (Ill highlight this issue when I update with the video) The inside of the pack is lined with a smooth material that is attached to the sides of the backpack, The side opposite the laptop pocket has a small zippered pocket. The material is glued to the sides of the backpack but the pocket area very easily pulls away and ends up detaching from the side of the backpack. This results in significant droop of the material and loss of use of the pocket which then gets in the way. Even after receiving an exchange the exact thing happened on the first day of use which was very disappointing. Ill still use the pack but this issue ruins an otherwise very nice travel accessory.

This is a sleek computer bag. You’ll definitely feel like a hot shot carrying it around. The leather is soft to the touch and it has *plenty of storage space. The inside is lined in a soft velvety material that’ll keep your laptop/tablet safe from scratches if it’s not in a protective case. It’s also thick enough that it should absorb shock pretty well too. I can see it lasting much longer than the cheap bags you grab just to get by. Especially if you’ll be carrying books in it as well. The only thing I’d say is that there’s a detachable wallet that just doesn’t make sense to me from a practical standpoint. Oddly enough, they put the actual zipper on the wallet and the stem for it is on the backpack, making it cumbersome as heck to remove and re-attach. The zipper should have been on the bag, itself. I don’t actually plan to use it, but if that’s a feature that appeals to you, keep in mind that you might tear your hair out fooling around with it. At this price range, I just would expect better practicality. Other than that, I recommend if you like the look of it.

Received this as a gift and really like it. It is not bulky, but has plenty of space for a laptop as well as various travel accessories - headphones, books, journal etc. It isnt really large enough to pack clothing etc in as well, but I did not expect that. Well thought out pockets and closures are high quality, and this backpack is very nice looking. Very satisified.

My previous backpack was starting to get holes so it was time for an upgrade. Found this hard shell backpack and fell in love with the design! It looks amazing and even has ports for my portable charger with a USBA and USBC port on the side. It’s not a huge backpack but what’s what the carryon is for, this fits my laptop and iPad and other accessories easily. The added TSA lock for additionally security is a nice plus. Took it on my first trip and already got a compliment on it!

Can be used as a travel backpack or briefcase since it does have backpack straps and one side handle. Storage capacity you get a lot plus youre able to unzip the top bag they also provide straps to carry it. For your laptop storage, you get a soft velvet feel ( not sure if it is velvet) also comes with a a set of different USB cables.

Good size for my needs.

Had more room than I thought. Looks classy. The two bottles holder (zippered) are a plus. They have so many styles to choose from.
