Im so glad I came across you hole punch. Truth is I bought it because of 1 reviewer who had troubled hands like me. I gave it a try and Im NEVER going back to the old way again! Thank You!

> 24 hourThere is a coffee shop at my work that you can use punch cards. She’s gone through so many “metal” hole punches that have broken, mainly in the trap part that holds the chads, but also the spring or the guide part covering the hole. I was concerned about buying this one because it’s plastic, but it had decent reviews and thought I’d take a chance. It’s lightweight, which worried me, but it’s very comfortable in the hand. There is plenty of space for the chads so you don’t have to empty it as often, which helps with the wear and tear on that part. The hole punch itself is strong and goes through two card-stock type cards together easily, with no noticeable additional effort on the squeeze. One adjustment is being able to see exactly where the hole will punch. Traditional metal punches are easy to see from the side exactly where it will punch because of the metal piece sticking out. You have to look from the front on this one, which is an adjustment, but after a few times you get used to it and can be just as accurate. I’m a little concerned about how it will stand up to multiple drops on the hard marble floor or counter, but so far it’s handled drops, possible because it’s so light. I’ll update if that ends up being a problem. I’m sort of an older-style-is-better traditionalist, and so I really wanted a metal hole puncher. I’d been looking at antique stores for a sturdier metal hole punch but none of them had chad catches, which was a requirement. This one seemed cheap because it’s plastic on the outside but I am surprisingly pleased with it. I recommend that you give it a chance if you are tired of the metal ones that are cheaply made breaking.

> 24 hourSo much easier to grip and squeeze than a traditional metal hole punch, especially for someone like me who sometimes has trouble with the muscles and joints in my hands.

> 24 hourAlthough one was green and one was pink instead of black and grey, these are wonderful hole punches. I use them for a hand-eye coordination exercise for Pre-K through kindergarten. It is very easy for students to squeeze these hole punches. The only problem I had with the last ones was that the door to the container holding the holes broke and the spring quit working that allows the handles to open back up. I trust these will be a little more sturdy.

> 24 hourHard to clean. Have to bang on it or use a long needle to clean the punches out of the handle.....

> 24 hourI purchased this punch for myself a while ago, and I was so impressed with it that I bought this one for a gift. It is the most comfortable, easy to use punch I have ever used. It really does punch more than one sheet at a time--Ive even used it successfully on light weight cardboard. The collection device keeps a work area neat. I highly recomend it. In fact, Im thinking about getting at least two more--one for home and one just in case I lose one!
