> 3 dayI ordered this backpack for when I travel. I needed a case for my laptop but also needed a carry-on case since you can only bring on one bag on a plane these days. I found this backpack perfect for my needs. It has a well-sized padded pocket that securely holds my 17.5 laptop. The rest of the pack is well laid out with pockets and such to securely hold and organize all my needs for as many as 5 days on the road. (I am a very good packer and wear a womens size L...so if you are smaller, you might be able to do a week!) It included a couple of packing cubes to aid in the organization of my clothes when packing too. I am very pleased. It has more than one way to carry it as well. Either as a backpack or by a handle on a side. The only thing you might miss with this is that there are no wheels on this pack. I chose this one for the squarer shape since I needed space more than wheels and those wheeled ones seem to always have a more rounded top end. If rolling convenience is needed for you, look elsewhere.

> 3 dayThis backpack turned out to be a bit bigger than I was expecting, and, as it turns out, Im here for it. I initially got this to replace a smaller backpack that had begun to fall apart. I wasnt expecting how big this was. Primarily I use the pack to bring me and my laptop to work and back, plus all the assorted things that go with it - mouse, cords, and so on. Once every couple of weeks I would bring some supplies in - coffee, creamer, snacks - and I was using a reusable grocery bag to do that, carrying that as well as my old backpack. After getting this new one, IO found that I didnt need to bring the extra bag, there was plenty of room in the backpack, and I dont feel like I am carrying extra weight with the larger pack when Im not bringing the extra stuff. Then my wife needed chemotherapy, so the pack needed to not only bring all the stuff I needed to work remotely, but also all of the things she needed or might need. And the extra cargo space became a necessity, and I was grateful it was there.

Greater than one weekThis is a large backpack that will meet the requirements for many airlines as a carry-on. The pack is made of woven nylon in a tight weave. It has thick padding at the top and bottom of the back and padded shoulder straps but no hip straps. The bottom of the pack is reinforced with nylon in a thicker weave. The pack has a 1.5” wide nylon strap across the back in the middle. The back compartment is padded on both sides and has a laptop sleeve that will accommodate laptops up to 12” wide and 20” long. This compartment has a zipper that runs all the way to the bottom on both sides, allowing you to lay the compartment out flat. The main compartment measures 20”x13.5”x4”. It has criss-crossed diagonal elastic straps that clip in the middle for holding luggage steady. There are also 3 zippered mesh pockets on one side of this compartment. The zipper of this compartment opens on the top, bottom, and side, letting you open this compartment up like a suitcase. There is an additional full length compartment (13”x20”x1”) beyond this with several small organizer pockets for a phone, calculator or pens. A fourth compartment forms a 9.5”x9” pocket on the outside. This compartment also has 2 organizer pockets inside. A fifth compartment forms an 8.5”x6.5” pocket on the previous compartment. The backpack has 2 water bottle or umbrella pockets, one on each side. There are padded carrying handles on the top and side. Also included with the pack are 2 packing cubes, one measuring 13”x9”x2.5” and the other 11.5”x7”x1.5”. Each of the cubes has a mesh portion on the top enabling you to see what is in them. I like the roomy capacity of this pack—you can certainly fit a lot in it. But I wish it had hip straps. If you’re going without wheels, you will probably be carrying this pack some distance on your back. A hip strap would really be useful then. The pack seems sturdy, but mine had some loose threads sewn in the seam on the outside, showing a lack of care in finishing the product. Overall, this pack can hold a lot and will meet carry-on requirements for most airlines as long as it is not overstuffed.

> 3 dayGreat bag with lots of space with all the essential pockets/sections covered. The only flaw I could see is that the bottom and side edges of the laptop section have zero padding so if you plop your bag down on the floor or someone with a hard shell carryon hits the side in the overhead your laptop will be damaged. Easily solved with a protective laptop sleeve.

> 3 dayThis thing looks nice, and appears to be very well made. I like the fact that the zipper on the pouch for the laptop has a spot for you to put a lock on it to keep it a bit more secure. Overall I am happy with the backpack and would recommend it. I will update this review if there are any longevity issues with it.

Greater than one weekIm one of those people that takes my laptop everywhere, so carrying multiple bags can be a pain. For travel, I can pack stuff for overnight in the secondary section without a problem. The packing cubes are a welcome bonus. During the week, I often workout in the AM, so I keep my work clothes packed in here along with my laptop. As just a laptop bag, its a bit bulky, but Ive smartly used the second section as a place to store the projector and the packing cubes for the cables.
