When installing this connector remember to use the dielectric grease on your connections. The oring seals keep out the water and the grease will keep oxidation down at the metal to metal connections. Perfect fit-up with these Y-cable adapters.

Def worth having

This is a set of F/MM and M/FF. Both are required to parallel one set of two panels. When I ordered these I only got one of the two and had to write to the seller, who later sent me the second one. It is hard to tell the source of the error but they corrected it. I installed these outdoors and theyve been there for over 7 months now including ice and snow from the roof falling down on them. Theyve operated every day with no need to adjust and no issues with rain or snow. Very very pleased with these and Id buy them again if needed.

Unfortunately, the most important thing to do with this brand is make sure the female plug ends are not installed crooked! I had to send one back for replacement because it was defective. I couldnt plug it in without having to reach in and grab the pins with pliars to try to fix it mylsef. Instead I sent it back for replacement. The second pair I got still had slight alignment problems however a slight wiggle of the other pin male end got it to take the pin and connect with the opposing end. Check yours to make sure one plugs into the other when you get them. if not request a replacement. Second time was the charm. As they were good enough.
