Was a gift . My son liked it a lot

I was concerned that it wouldnt work with the American version of the Wii U, but works with no problem!

The amiibo box came a little dent and had a smudge on his hand. Easy fix and was probably during the manufacturing process. Still a great product!

My boy loves it and the fact that the box came in Japanese letters had no bearing in its use and saved us some cash
