After reading so much about how great it is to make your own vanilla extract, coupled with the sticker shock associated with the price of a small bottle of it, I decided it was time to give it a try. A whole vodka-bottles worth of vanilla would take me a while to go through, so I figured while I was at it, why not give some as gifts. We have a lot of family members who are bakers. These are generous size bottles for gifting with a nice cap that seals well. This set even comes with some cute little funnels, labels and a marker! Very well packed, no breakage. Started the vanilla (got the beans on Amazon as well) in these bottles in June to use as Christmas gifts. Put the filled bottles right back into the original packing box/foam liner while the vanilla stews.

These bottles are great for storing herbal tinctures or other homemade goodies. The amber color is dark, and the bottles are sturdy. I dropped one onto a tiled floor from about 3 feet high and it didnt crack or chip.

Lids fit well and glass is thick and strong. Labels are a great idea. Funnel was very usefull in making lemon and vanilla extracts.

I am using these for Christmas gifts of homemade vanilla extract and these bottles are perfect. They are a good size, tinted to keep the light out, sturdy and I love the labels. Highly recommend.

Amber bottle for vanilla extract! They were as expected. Packed nicely! The pen and chalk labels are kind of meh...put I didnt buy them for that. 5 stars!
