> 24 hourUnlike some bargain brands that are really brass coated steel, these are actually all brass. The bristles are not scratchy and I can even use without wearing gloves and tearing up my hands. While the bristles are soft enough to use, they are also strong enough to clean well, and seem to last a good while without breaking down and tangling. Pleased with purchase.

> 24 hourBrush has good potential. But construction is flawed. On first use the bristles started coming out with every stroke as if they were just poked in the handle with no adhesive in the hole. The brass is nice and soft for cleaning antique metal work. But this isnt going to last.

> 24 hourI wanted a fine bristle brass brush to reach paint particles in the woodgrain of a table top, and this brush worked great.

> 24 hourThese are specifically listed as Brass Brush. They are not. They are a brass coated steel wire brush. Some jobs require a true, brass bristle brush. Disappointed upon arrival and use to find that they are not as advertised, nor what I was expecting.

> 24 hourThe bristles go haywire fairly easily, but only because they are finer. Its a great brush. I use it to clean my files. DONT THROW AWAY THE BOX. The bristles are pokey and sharp and its nice to put the brush in something to protect yourself, especially if you are keeping this in your tool box. It also protects the bristles from getting bent out of shape.
