I like this razor a lot and these replacement blades are great.

Had a few Brauns 10+ years ago. Good shave but gave up on them after they all developed very strong vibrations after a year or so.....sent them out for repair....not much improvement. Several reviewers had the same complaint back then. I switched to the 4-blade Panasonic shavers for the past 10 years. The shave was similar but the replacement blades and foils were quite expensive, and the quality of the shave seemed to deteriorate over time. I also didnt care for the fact that you could not shave while it was plugged in. After much procrastination. I decided to go back to Braun and try the new 790cc-4 Series 7 shaver. I should have done that years sooner. The shave doesnt compare. It is much, much closer than the Panasonic. I have a very wiry and growing in all directions type of beard. After shaving with the Braun, I have a similar stubble after 2 days compared to 1 day after shaving with the Panasonic. No irritation at all since I dont need to repeatedly go over the same area several times. Their blade/foil replacement is considerably cheaper than Panasonics and the Clean & Renew cartridges can be purchased fairly inexpensively if you shop around. I do not hesitate to recommend this shaver to anyone.
