> 24 hourI bought this at a jewelry store in my town in CT, not via Amazon. Here are the specifics: The list price was $4,400 but I balked at that and, when coming into the store two weeks later, asked for a $400 discount-- which I received. The first watch had a problem: the date at the bottom did not line up well in the window, so I brought it back hoping it was an easy fix. It was not. They had to send it back to Breitling, whose U.S. headquarters is in the next town over: Wilton. When they said that it would take months to fix and return I asked for a new watch. The store would not request a new one, so I disputed the credit charge and wrote two complaining reviews on Yelp! and Google. That did the trick, and two months later I had my new watch. Any would be buyer should know two things about this watch: it can run slow by up to four seconds per day, or up to six seconds fast per day. Thats a 10 second window for a watch that claims to be a chronometer. (This info came from the Wilton headquarters, which I called.) Both of mine ran/run 4 seconds slow per day. So plan on resetting it once a week. Second, it is a mechanical watch which is self winding: the movement of the wrist supposedly keeps it running. However, I have found that if I dont wear it for a day or two, it stops running. So, plan on winding it via the knob to keep it going during off days. The watch itself is elegant, nice looking, and appears to be well made. It has these quirks, so buyer beware.
