Brighton: Training Days Book 2
-
Kindle
> 24 hourIt is exactly what the author proclaimed light, low angst romance to escape into when the world and life is to much. However, I just wanted the aunt to get her comeupence. SPOILER: kinda If your parent die without a will. Then all their property would go by law to their children. In this case Brighton. So she couldnt kick him out of his parents house...he owns it.

> 24 hourThe Training Days series is such a cute series! The characters are so adorable and cuddly and cute. Each guy is unique in their own way and the gruff looking ones happen to be the biggest and cuddliest bears! This series slightly me reminds me of JM Dabneys Twirled World Ink series, just that these have less angst. Brighton and Knox are adorable, in book one this is the duo where Brighton was clinging/climbing/sitting on Knox and Knox would just walk him everywhere. My favorite is when Knox walks in on Brighton on his bed...hehehe so hilarious and sexy :) This is my first series reads from JD Light but I am very much enjoying this series :) Cant wait to read about Jordan!!

> 24 hourSo this book came to me as an arc, and I adored it, positively adored it. JD Light has yet to write a book that I do not love. In this book we have sassy Brighton who is a yoga instructor and probably what we would all think of as a twink. He used to be a dancer but he lost his passion for it and found his passion and yoga. He hates walking but loves yoga. He lives in the home that he grew up in until his evil Auntie takes it away. Down-on-his-luck with nowhere to go he has no options. Enter his powerbuilding friend Knox, who offers to let Brighton lives with him and all of his problems are basically solved. Now Knox is this huge powerbuilding Alpha with the hugest crush on Brighton and just humor him all the time. Because Brighton hates walking he literally piggybacks Brighton around everywhere. After beating around the bush a lot these to finally get together and it is awesome. I love this book it was cute. It was funny. It was sweet. It was fluffy. It was everything I need in a book after Ive had a long stressful day. If I could give it 37 Stars I would but Amazon only allows 5. Highly recommend.

> 24 hourJ.D. Light is back with the second book in the Training Days series, and this time around, the friends-to-lovers trope focuses on best friends Brighton Walker and Knox Green. Besties for about two years, the dance student turned yoga instructor has the power lifters back--literally! Brighton isnt exactly a fan of walking--which kinda makes his last name ironic--but Knox doesnt mind giving the guy a lift--which is really quite perfect since hes, you know, a weightlifter and all. Plus, Knox is just that good of a friend, so of course, when Brighton is basically informed by his aunt that hes being kicked out of the place where hes been staying, Knox steps in and offers his extra room. But close quarters and hidden crushes are about to make things quite interesting between these two best of friends... Brighton was a sweet romance about two best friends whove had a thing for each other from the moment they met but whose doubts and hesitation had them becoming friends instead of asking one another out from the get-go. I liked that Brighton brought out both the protective and the more lighthearted sides of Knox. They had an easygoing friendship, and while Knox literally carrying Brighton on his back because the latter did not like walking unless absolutely necessary was a tad...unconventional...I did like that they seemed to be there for each other through everything. This story had little to no angst, and while I do love me my angst, I can more than appreciate that this book didnt need it at all. This quickie of a read gets four stars and has me looking forward to book three! ♥

> 24 hourBrighton and Knox are great friends. Both guys were funny and sweet. I really liked their relationship. Poor Brighton has a tonne of insecurities to overcome to believe that Knoxs friendship is true and doesnt come with a heap of conditions. A funny and sweet friends to lovers story and a great addition to the series. I look forward to reading the next one.

> 24 hourWhat a wonderful series. Brighton and Knox are great together. Im surprise they lasted as long as they did before they finally have into the mutual feelings. Knox is a strong man to have this loved climb up on him so that he can carry Brighton around the gym where they both work. I can wait to read Jordons story next. I voluntary review this Advance Readers Copy of this book.

> 24 hourIm loving this series so much! This was the perfect morsel of a story for a Saturday afternoon. I just loved Brighton and Knox together. They are the sweetest men who are just wrapped up in each other. Brighton is a comedy of errors that Knox finds adorable. He brings light and laughter everywhere he goes and Knox brings acceptance and security to Brighton. I cant wait for the next book in this series!

> 24 hourBrighton and Knox are just so sweet together. I loved them in the first book, so getting to see more about them in their own book was really exciting. I laughed every time Brighton complained about having to walk, even if it was only 30 feet. I guess if I had my own powerlifter who was willing to let me drape myself all over him, I would too. They had to be a cute picture together.

> 24 hourThis was short, sweet and to the point. I really enjoyed getting another look at the other characters from the gym. I was so sad at the way Brighton viewed his self worth but Im super glad that Knox didnt give up on him. This story gave me several laughs and a few times I wanted to cry but I dont regret it. I definitely recommend this story. :)
