It is exactly what the author proclaimed light, low angst romance to escape into when the world and life is to much. However, I just wanted the aunt to get her comeupence. SPOILER: kinda If your parent die without a will. Then all their property would go by law to their children. In this case Brighton. So she couldnt kick him out of his parents house...he owns it.

Brighton by JD Light is the second book in the Training Days series. This quick contemporary m/m romance is a fun and sweet read. Brighton and Knox are great characters. I love their interactions.... I needed them to get together because they were just adorable together. Perfect. The story was a no angst, all smoothie sweet read. Love it! Cant wait for next book in series. I received an advanced readers copy of the book and I am voluntarily leaving my honest review and recommendation.

A LOL, sweet story where Brighton and Knox finally get together after having pined for each other as friends for years. It’s really sad how Brighton felt expendable yet really sweet how steadfast Knox remained no matter what shenanigans Brighton got up to. This book will make you laugh (snorting optional), cringe, go awww, and immediately want Jonathan’s story! Keep em coming. Voluntary ARC review.

This is such a sweet and cute story. Knox and Brightons story had me smiling throughout this story. I love a sweet friends to lovers and J.D. Light has do it. The characters are just so cute together. I cant wait for the next story in this series.

Brighton and Knoxs relationship intrigued me in the first book, with him carrying Brighton around on his back. This was similar to the first book in that both of them had feelings for the other yet never realized it until an opportunity came up for the truth to come out. Knox was sure someone like him could never land someone as smart, sweet, funny, and beautiful as Brighton, while Brighton thought he was too much of a hot mess for Knox to ever want him. Brighton especially broke my heart with the way hes been tossed aside by people all his life just because of a few quirks they couldnt seem to handle. They couldnt have found anyone more perfect than each other, each giving the other confidence, trust, friendship, and unconditional love. Im excited for Jordan and Langstons story next

I love J.D. Light books. This series is no exception. Very, very enjoyable read.

Brighton and Knox are just so sweet together. I loved them in the first book, so getting to see more about them in their own book was really exciting. I laughed every time Brighton complained about having to walk, even if it was only 30 feet. I guess if I had my own powerlifter who was willing to let me drape myself all over him, I would too. They had to be a cute picture together.

Loved Brighton and Knoxs story! These two guys were perfect for one another! My only complaint is that it was too short! I would have loved another 100 pages of this one...sweet, fluffy quick read that was well worth the time!

Im loving this series so much! This was the perfect morsel of a story for a Saturday afternoon. I just loved Brighton and Knox together. They are the sweetest men who are just wrapped up in each other. Brighton is a comedy of errors that Knox finds adorable. He brings light and laughter everywhere he goes and Knox brings acceptance and security to Brighton. I cant wait for the next book in this series!

What a sweet story I loved Brightons child like mannerisms and just thinking about the way he climbs Knox like a tree makes me laugh. The author portrays these two with some much love and kindness towards each other. This series is amazing and I am looking forward to reading more.
