I use these bulbs for my patio lights. I prefer incandescent light because it is softer and easier on the eyes - it has less glare that LEDs, which can be harmful to the eyes of seniors like me. Im only sorry that they burn out so quickly.

The lights work well in all kinds of weather (rain, snow, freezing temps). The packaging that the lights arrived in was another story. Very surprised they were not broken. Filmsy box, no protection from the package being dropped or something heavy being put on top of it. Other than the packaging, satisfied.

Bulbs are well made and can take some abuse. I use in an outdoor set up and in the wind some bulbs blow out,. These bulbs are not so prone to blowing out in high winds.
