> 24 hourI have been using this brand for a while now. Although I do not have a microscope, I do have test kits. I can tell you it works to cycle a tank fresh or marine. I also use a little bit from time to time when cleaning substrate, or moving rocks around. That will help you when you disturb our little bacteria friends. They dont like to be messed with.

> 24 hourI had a cyanobacteria problem in my saltwater tank, that had plenty of flow and good lights. Took about 2 weeks but nothing happens fast in saltwater reefing. Havent seen a hint of cyano since. I highly recommend and will use in the future if I need to.

> 24 hourIve read that this product is good for getting rid of Cyanobacteria so this is what I am basing my review on. I have used this product specifically how it states in the instructions for ridding cyano and it has not work its been 2 weeks and the cyano is still coming back. I siphoned all of it off of the sand bed hoping that it will help and it did nothing to it. So I dont recommend this product for ridding cyano.
