The cable is heavyweight, and each bulbholder is encased in rubber: theres a hole for a hook or mounting wire on every bulb. Note that this loom has bulbs every 2 feet: many of the competitors are every 3 feet, so you get more bulbs in a 50 foot loom. I prefer the closer spacing.

I ordered these bulbs for my outdoor lights. They came beautifully packaged and were easily put into the sockets without issue. I ordered the 2W bulbs which provided a softer glow but still gave off enough light that you could see the area around them. I have only had them for a few days, but I am pleased with how they look.

I am overall satisfied with the lights. I purchased 4 boxes in total, 3 this order and 1 box prior to test. I was replacing incandescent bulbs from 4 strings of Costco outdoor lights. I really appreciate the savings in power. The incandescent lights were using 1100 watts, now with the LED bulbs they use 200 watts, and they are twice as bright as the incandescent. I was not able to use a dimmer for the incandescent lights as they used too much power for a dimmer switch, but now Ill be able to. I had no immediate failure of any light bulb, but after about 20 hours of use, one bulb started to flicker bright and dim, then went to a steady dim light. I had a few extra as spares so I replaced it. If it wasnt for the one failure, Id give them 5 stars, but Im still very happy with them.

I purchased these lightbulbs for a 6 bulb Sputnik light for a toy room that is about 10x13 ft. I started out with large antique Edison bulbs, but they were too amber for the room. Next I ordered daylight 4000 white bulbs that turned the playroom into an operating room. I purchased these being a little apprehensive because they are only 20w, but they ended up being PERFECT! The color is a soft white that gives off the perfect brightness for the smaller room. I’m very happy with my purchase. One thing to note is that these bulbs are a little smaller than A standard bulb. I’m sure it’s listed somewhere in the description, but I must have missed it. They are small, but actually look great in a multi bulb fixture.

Received package and one of the bulbs is broken on the inside so it will not work which is disappointing as i needed exactly 6 bulbs. The other 5 are fine and look great. *EDIT* The shipper reached out regarding the broken bulb and very quickly sent a new replacement! Very happy with the service provided

I just purchased two Sputnik light fixtures for my kitchen and wasnt exactly sure how bright of a light bulb I needed. I came across these and they are perfect. Each of my fixtures holds eight bulbs so I was concerned about having too bright of a light but with these that is not an issue at all. I definitely recommend for multi light fixtures where you dont want to be blinded or feel like youre sitting under a sun lamp.

First of all - quality appears to be good. Especially for the price. Got to me with all bulbs intact. Purchased these for a light fixture on my porch (as my garage outdoor lights were 4w LEDs at 2700K temperature) so that it matched my 4w lights at the garage. My only issue with them is the light color/temperature seems slightly off. Its definitely a warm glow - however it does not match my GE 2700K LED bulbs in the same light color - these are more of a brighter yellow than a warm yellow that typical 2700K temp bulbs would be. Do they still work? Yes - and they look good too so really no issue - just be aware the color is slightly off.

These bulbs are BRIGHT! We have a small patio with 20 of these bulbs and it’s too much! I removed every other bulb and it’s still almost too bright. If you’re looking for brightness, cool! If you’re looking for something dim and a little more intimate, I’d look for something else. As far as temperature is concerned, I would say these are a little higher than 2700k. I would say it’s about halfway between a warm white and “daylight”. I was hoping for more on the warmer side, but it is what it is. Overall, they seem to be good bulbs. Had a couple break, but that was my own fault. So, I would say if wind is a factor where these are used, I would make sure they are away from walls or the light strand pulled as tight as possible. I would buy them again. Update 5/17/20: They still continue to be great bulbs. They do not like any sort of rough handling. I’ve broke quite a few while restringing. I paired these with a wireless dimmer and I’m pretty dang happy.

Because of my sordid history with anything LED, (color temperature way off, flicker, short life, etcetera) I am going to make this a sort of blog review. I will come back and update the review as the spring and summer wear on. With so many replacement bulbs to choose from, I did quite a bit of research on these particular set of bulbs (they were the fifth box or boxes I had added to my cart before deciding on them). 3/31/19: Installed the bulbs in our outdoor heavy duty E26 strand of deck lights originally purchased at Lowes (but available here too). Originally, they came with small Edison-style household based incandescent bulbs. The original bulbs were turned on in June of 2016 and were one pretty much 24/7 at varying levels of dimmer output. Only in the past two months or so did they start to burn out. I decided to pay extra for the LEDs just because I think they look neat. These Brimax 2 watt S14 bulbs have a rated life of 30,000 hours at like 3 hours a day or some such. Im gonna make a concerted effort to turn them off (or at least all the way dimmed down) when not in use and not be lazy like before. So they will get maybe 3 hours per day but not at full blast. We use them more for ambiance rather than sight. They are slightly more cool color temperature wise than the incandescents were, but within an hour or so we could not tell the difference. Still, a nice sunset glow, not cold and harsh at all. They are definitely bright when the dimmer is wide open. I suspect our dimmer is a new style required by some LEDs, as it has a continuous brightening depending on how you adjust. All the way down, and they have a neat glow that is just barely visible. No flicker is detectable. I ran them overnight for about 15 hours on high. They were all still alive when I checked. I have them turned all the way down now and will do another half day and see how they behave. Plus it is supposed to go below freezing tonight, so that will be another test. I was very impressed with the packaging and packing of the bulbs. They were neatly sandwiched between two sections of closed cell foam. Brilliant way to protect them. The bulbs were well made and we experienced none that were faulty or didnt work. That in and of itself was surprising. We lit 24 of the 25 in the box. According to the manufacturer We provide after-sale-service for the first two years, no matter what happened during this time, you could message us for replacement or fees back.. I assume this means if one burns out within that time, they will offer a replacement. 30,000 hours by 24 hours is 3 years, so well see how long ours last. There is contact information at the manufacturers website at langmacndotcom. So far, two days in, and I am very impressed and would definitely buy these again. Perfect for our deck.
