I have old pipes and rusty but treated water. These do last a little longer than recommended as I fill the tank only once every day to two. I get good filtered water for the coffe pot and doesnt cost too much. They fit perfectly, better than the blue 6 mo. ones.

I ordered a filter system for my kitchen sink but, I ordered extra filters to go into a pitcher so, I gave them away to a friend who has a pitcher. Ive heard no complaints thus far, lol!!
