These items are well-made and strong - even taking the weight of a fairly heavy backpack with ease. I needed to tighten the bend on one of these hooks for the specific application I had in mind for it (hanging off a rope), and that took quite a bit of effort to do, which is immensely reassuring. The leather wrapping looks gorgeous and effectively protects items from being damaged by naked or badly coated / wrapped metal, which I appreciate. The leather looks to be of excellent quality and durability. All in all, I am very happy with my purchase.
