Buffalo Games - Charles Wysocki - House Movers - 1000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle

A wonderful puzzle to keep you busy. I have done several of the Charles Wysocki puzzles. Completely enjoyable and fun to find all the little details in the picture.

Usually I am very happy with the quality of Buffalo Games puzzles, but this one was a disappointment. About a dozen pieces or so had the top layer peeled up from the cardboard backing. I’d expect this after being assembled a few times, but not brand new.

My wife and I love doing Wysocki puzzles because the images are so whimsical. This one for example, moving a house on a cart. Just how did they get it on the cart? Since theres so many little scenes in Wysocki images, we can each take sections and work separately and then bring them together. My wife loves sky and trees and I get the buildings and people. Our favorite puzzle maker is Buffalo Games. The pieces are nice and thick and stay together. They also provide a poster of the puzzle. My wife gets the box lid and I get the poster, making us both happy.

This is a well made puzzle but Im missing about 20% of the border pieces alone! The top left shows the top border and the rest of the pieces are inside.... not even close. Worst part is I sorted as I went to have a lot of lost time in that. The bag was properly sealed, it came from the sellers store... not great.

I love these puzzles and order all the time. This one had a missing piece. My first Charles Wysocki ever.

This puzzle had too many duplicate pieces, (same cuts and same colors). It spoils the fun when pieces are the same. I have done several other of these puzzles and really enjoyed them, not this one. It is a good quality puzzle.

This is my third Buffalo Games 1000 piece puzzle in the last couple months and the first 2 were excellent in every respect (5-stars). This one was a disappointment. At least 6 to 10 piece were damaged. The male pins were bent and the layers were separating. The other issue is fit. Some pieces fit nicely and some were very loose. The were a lot of pieces that were 99% able to fit in the wrong spots. This was frustrating to say the least. I left 3-stars since the price was very low (on special) and the finished puzzle looks good except for the damaged pieces. Either it was damaged in shipping, manufacturing or may possibly have been used and repackaged.

Anyone who enjoys Charles Wysocki puzzles will like this one. Nice picture on good, sturdy pieces, and all pieces present.
