We moved down to the beach recently, and have yet to find the Sand Grabber we had, so I had to purchase another one. Screw this thing into the sand, then pile sand up on top of it, and your umbrella will not blow away! It really does work better than any others we have purchased in the past. Lasts a long time - just be sure to rinse it off after each use and put it in a dry place.

Best way to secure an umbrella ... EVER! Worked great on our beach vacation. We took this bad boy to 4 different beaches and it worked on all of them. Some had fine sand, some had coarse sand, it didnt matter it always held. Even in super high winds with a 8 ft canopy umbrella. This is one great product, and for a great price! Our pole was 1.25 inches in diameter and it fit great with a little room to spare.

We bought this to reduce our consumption of plastic with beach gear. It really is the only affordable option we could find on Amazon. The reviews were conflicting, and it was unclear exactly what size umbrella would fit in this anchor. However, we are glad we took the chance. There is a little piece of plastic on an inside part, but the rest is solid metal. It twists into the sand fairly easily and fits our umbrella with a 1 1/4 or 32 mm diameter pole with at least another 3 mm to spare. It is not heavy or bulky and fits easily into a bag we bring to the beach.

The air filter fit but the spark plug did not.

Came on time..it is grey...the cord to plug it in is very short...the instructions ate in Chinese..it did come with the things it did say..well see how long it last

This really works in the sand. On the beach it was great. We tried up near our camping site where it was a mixture of sand, dirt and grass and found it did not work as well. I will be buying a second one for next years visit so I will have two,

Bought this for a beach trip with my mom. We never sit out on the beach. This particular year we sat out on the beach and it was great. Now, I just need to find her a more comfortable chair so she’ll stay out longer. The setup was extremely easy. I used a Walmart umbrella and it fit well. The anchor handled the wind well. Buying this ha changed my beach experience! Can’t wait to go back with two umbrellas.

Unfortunately, on day 2 of using this at the beach, the metal “digger” at the bottom of the holder snapped off therefore eliminating the ability to dig itself down into the sand easily. So after one day of use, this rendered itself basically useless. Perhaps my item was defective from the start and therefore prone to breaking, but to lose the functionality of having this on day 2 of our beach vacation is less than ideal. Additionally, it is not the easiest to turn with the handles. They could be longer to make turning into the sand easier. My wife couldn’t use this herself.
