Got these for my LX570. The purpose for now is to use them as parking lot traction devices at the ski resort to get the truck moving after sitting the entire day or overnight buried in the snow. The parking lot is not paved and has many potholes where you can get stuck if you happen to park over one of them hidden under the snow. Happens all the time so this is not an hypothetical scenario. So far I tested them on wet hard pavement to see if they slide/shoot from under the tire given the tarmac slick surface. They do not slide and the tire can easily get a grip on them. The fact that they are articulated in the middle helps so when the rear tire climbs on it the free end does not hit my factory running boards. Going over the transitions to/from the jack pad is smooth, no drama. Despite the heavy weight of the LX and the hard surface they were pressed against there is no visible damage to the boards like you get with the cheap stuff. Winter is coming and Ill be testing them in the mountains. Ill post back if I found something wrong with them.

These recovery tracks are perfect. They are shorter than others I have had but I like the compact set along with the bag that these come with. They are easy to store and dont take up much space but are still great for the intended use. The jack base is also very nice and provides a clean solid base for using a jack on rough terrain.

Superb construction, ultra portable! I always wanted a traction board but no space in my subie to accommodate one. This setup is PERFECT!!! I can use it in pair or as a single long plank, super easy to store at half the size of other traction boards out there, the material composition of this board is also a bit different than the others, it uses a special plastic polycaprolactam (PA6) that is stronger and more UV stable and has a wider range of working temperature, it is important if you are going to keep this board outside of your vehicle or to help you get out of snow in a cold weather... I also like the center connecting piece that can be used as the base for your bottle jack.. I tried with my scissor jack and the base of my jack fits perfectly within the jack base but if your scissor jack is not able to fit inside the square of jack base I suggest you not to risk it.

They are nice and small enough to just throw in the back of the jeep, havent had to use them but they seem to be pretty sturdy.

This was ultimately the tool that got me out of a very stuck situation. Worked as i hoped it would. Saved.

These look good. And are quite solid. They fit together well. I have 4 of them. Havent needed to use them yet, but nice having them just in case.

The Recovery Boards feel strong and durable for the price I paid including a carry bag. These are the first Boards I bought and Im very satisfied with the quality and design of it. Now I feel ready to use them, when the time comes.
