Burlap Banner, DIY Party Decor for Birthday, Wedding, Baby Shower and Graduation

This is a cute banner that I was able to paint on for a birthday party. I would advise not to remove the pennants from the string though as the string will fall apart when you try to put the pennants back on. I ended up having to use a new string.

Love this banner! I ordered it to use for my best friends wedding and I am so excited. It is so cute and I cant wait to get to pain on it!! It is definitely better quality than I have found in any store. The burlap is thick and durable, it doesnt look like it is going to fray and fall apart and not last. The twine that the burlap is attached to is thicker and durable as well. I am very happy with the purchase that I made as I feel like I got a better deal on it than I would have got at any store and the quality is way better. If you are looking for a cute burlap banner BUY IT! You will not be upset with your purchase! I was provided this product at a discount for my honest and unbiased review. The banner is stiff and very well made. I painted a spring sign for my front porch and it worked well for that. (Just put something under it bc it bleeds through). I would DEFINITELY buy this again!

I made a WELCOME banner to hang in the barn for the arrival of my granddaughters new horse. The burlap fabric was perfect for the stable atmosphere, and I used Crayola markers in a rainbow pattern of colors for the 2 words. She was delighted, and all of the barn rats thought it was a fun way to welcome the new pair to the barn. The fabric panels didnt ravel, and there was plenty of string on each end to stretch it across one wall and wrap the end around picture hooks.

Used these to make a rustic “brunch” banner for my home and I really love it! Some notes (true of just about any burlap banner, not just this one, but everyone should know): -when you use paint, it will seep through the holes so have scrap paper under. -the material is thin to put against a window and the sun will shine through making the writing hard to see. -use stencils (of course) for perfect lettering! But YES this was. Great deal for the amount of banner you get! :)

Sturdy burlap so the edges didnt curl up. Plan to store it and use it again over the years. It was hard to read during the day when there was light behind it (the wholes in burlap) but im sure if a darker color or vinyl is used instead of white acrylic paint it would not have that issue. But it was pretty easy to paint and customize. And the size is large enough for any generic phrases you might want to add. Or can even keep it plain. Mine did have a chemical like smell to it. Reminded me of ant or roach killer. That was the only downside.

Very nice for the price and saved me the trouble of having to sew my own banners. Time and materials would have been just as much if not more money so was glad to just order ready made banners. I used several packages for a baby shower and hand painted letters on the pendants for the gift area, beverages, activity station, etc. My only negative comment is that while some of the individual pendants could slide up and down the rope (in order to space letters closer or farther apart for words or phrases) not all of them moved....so for example, I painted SHOWERED WITH LOVE on a banner for the gift area, and wanted gaps in between the different words but was not able to slide them apart. I ended up just cutting apart a strand and then re connecting to make it work with spacing. So order an extra strand or two just incase! I was so glad I did. Overall for the price though, these were great!
