Robust construction should assure endurance. Provides some protection from moisture in outdoor applications but suggest secondary covering of connectors

I bought this so I had a little headroom in a power splitter (I have a couple of another style that get warm under the load I currently have applied to this one, but this one does not). Right now I have it connected so a PC and a peripheral chassis pull power through it, but the combined power is only about 750W. The cable does not even get warm when under this load. If It gives me any problems with a planned upgrade that will push things above 1KW, I will revise the review down. Update: No problems running at 1000W to 1200W for hours at a time.

Perfect size for many applications. Appears to be very good quality and true to size. The section before the split is 7 and then each segment from the split is 7. Wire gauge is accurate as well.
