I have a power squid of sorts that I use when repairing PCs, with standard 3-prong power, USB KVM cable, 3.5inch audio connector cable, and ethernet cable. Usually that works fine for PC power supplies, but not if I have a laptop or something with an external power adapter. My existing power plug end is female; these PDU connectors allow me to plug a regular AC or other female three prong connector in without disrupting my squid or reaching back to my power strip. Does the job and does it well!
