Seems to work well. I researched what people use on their Louis purses because I bought a vintage one. I didnt want to use any leather product. Especially one that might darken the leather. This did not darken it and I am happy with the results. Also it has the consistency of hair conditioner.

Easily applied and provides nice conditioning

I used this conditioner to help bring my old gun belt back to life. After washing the belt with Fiebings saddle soap, and letting the belt dry overnight, I applied a generous coat of this conditioner to the leather and let it absorb it all in. I wiped off the excess and let it dry. I finished off the leather by applying 2 coats of Fiebings acrylic resolene and polished all brass hardware with Ballistol , the belt looks almost new. It did darken the leather just a little tiny bit but honestly, the belt needed the color rejuvenation. It looked pale and dry before the conditioning. Afterwards it had a healthy, rich finish. The resolene top coat I added was the protective icing on the cake. Im glad I bought this Cadillac boot and shoe conditioner because its not just for footwear. It will help maintain all smooth leathers.
