My husband & I love this product! You dont have to use much to clean up your little one after theyve had a poopie explosion. We only have one child and one bottle lasts us 6-8 weeks easily with our newborn. I suppose as they get older the bottles will last longer especially with breastfed babies.

I wouldve never seen a real use for this until a friend gifted me some and now Im hooked. I dilute it 50% and use exclusively for stubborn baby poop that doesnt want to come right off. The oils in the solution allow everything to slide off with one wipe so my little ones bum doesnt get irritated from multiple passes and I save wipes! It also irradicates the bad smell immediately and makes my baby smell really good!

Im not sure what exactly its supposed to do, and I really couldnt care less about organic whatever, but it does help clean poop off of a tiny butt and doesnt cause rashes, so yeah, it does its one job. Not sure its worth the price, but it doesnt suck.

I first received this in 2009 as shower gift for first chid. It lasted a long time! I just bought another bottle for second child. The new bottle doesnt smell as good IMO. I compared the ingredients and noticed some slight changes in order of the ingredients, and +/- a couple items. Was disappointed about change, since main reason buying it was for the delicious smell, but I still use it to help clean and freshen baby after a BM.

I almost never write reviews, and I dont like slamming a product, but I just had to write about this one. We received this as a gift. My daughter is 6 months old and woke up this morning with an awful diaper rash. She has rarely gotten one. I knew I had this on hand so I thought I would try it. My poor girl screamed and sobbed as soon as I sprayed it on her. I felt horrible. It took me 20 minutes to calm her back down. I immediately had to rinse off her bottom. It was very clear that this product was causing her pain. This was the opposite of calming! We use other California Baby products and LOVE them, but this was just plain traumatic for both of us.

I am very big on using natural and environmentally conscious products. I just recently started switching all of my familys hygiene products to California Baby (all of their products are able to be used at ANY age), after learning that our former favorite brand uses BPA in their packaging. My six-month-old received the California Baby Diaper Area Wash in her Christmas stocking. I have, literally, only been using this product since yesterday. I spray the product directly onto her skin and wipe it off with a disposable wash cloth (I get mine for around $2 at BabiesRUs). I am amazed at the results. After only one day, my daughters diaper rash is completely gone. I love: That this product does not smell fishy. That the lavender scent is very mild. That the overall scent is very mild. That it does not irritate my babys skin. That I no longer need to use several disposable baby wipes when changing my babys diaper. All it takes is one disposable wash cloth. That this product does not leave my babys skin wet. That this product is able to be diluted if youd like to make your own baby wipes (directions are on the bottle). That this product may also be used on cuts and scrapes, in place of Bactine or alcohol. That my daughter no longer cries while being wiped off during diaper changes. *I have heard that this product may used as a facial toner by adults. I will update my review after I have tried it. When I tell people that I use California Baby Diaper Area Wash as a toner and as a general miracle potion because it soothes my skin instantly, they are always surprised. Sometimes I mist it on directly or I spray it onto a cotton pad and apply. -Jessica, developer of California Baby Update: I tested this on a cut on my thumb, that I got while drying dishes. It did not sting at all. I have also been using this as a toner. It is wonderful! I was scared because I have never been able to use toner. I almost always have an allergic reaction. This product doesnt dry out my skin, nor does it irritate my skin! It cleared up the small acne breakout that I got on my cheeks when my milk supply dried up (I didnt think that acne would EVER go away). This is still working great on my daughter for diaper changes! We are getting ready to switch to cloth diapers, so this should be reaching its full potential in the next week or so!

It does seem to clean baby butts well, but its not for babies with rashes or sensitive skin. Dont know if its the witch hazel or tea tree oil or both, but whenever I use it (undiluted) it irritates my daughters skin and causes red inflamed patches.

We love this, Ive been using it on my kids for the last 4 years, were getting ready for our third child and we just ordered some more. It leaves the babys bottom fresh, clean, and never irritates (my son has very sensitive skin and this never caused problems).
